A paranormal romance, a mystery and a mysterious encounter await a dog owner and his two puppies in a Toronto animal clinic.
The two animals — a Labrador retriever and a golden retriever — were spotted in the veterinary clinic by the owner, who was surprised to see the dogs outside his house.
“It was pretty crazy to see them outside the window, they were just walking around,” he told CBC News.
“I didn’t really know what to think about it.
It was pretty wild to see these two adorable animals.”
After several hours of walking the dogs, the owners were approached by a man dressed in black.
He asked them if they needed anything.
“The dogs were all kind of in a bit of a daze,” the man said.
The owners then saw the two puppies running around.
“They were just running around, and they were running around a bit, and I just thought, ‘Oh my God, they’re really running around,'” the man recalled.
“So I ran over to see what was going on.”
The owners, who were unfamiliar with the facility, went to the reception desk and asked to speak to a receptionist.
“She just kind of shrugged her shoulders, looked at me and said, ‘Well, they seem to be fine, but they’re out of our care,'” the owner said.
“Then I just kind, I just said, I think I should have called somebody, or maybe I should just let them know that they’re not out of my care.”
The dogs returned to the owners house.
The owner said the woman told him she had been called by the hospital, but that they would not be able to give him any more information.
“When I went to go speak to the hospital they had the dog in the van out the door, and it was pretty clear that she wasn’t going to let me get in touch with her because I wasn’t in my office,” he said.
A veterinarian from Toronto’s veterinary clinic has been trying to find the owner and find out what happened to the dogs.
“We do believe that this was a human disturbance and that there may be some sort of misunderstanding that happened, that there was an animal in the facility that was not allowed to be there,” said Dr. Susan Lefebvre.
“This is a really, really difficult situation and I don’t think anyone should be put at risk.”
